Travel insurance is compulsory in all tours conducted by Universal Guru and all our Tour Packages are inclusive of travel insurance.

Trip interruption due to illness or unforeseen circumstances can be very expensive, and medical care abroad is often not covered by domestic insurance plans. Also, an increasing number of countries require proof of medical insurance for travellers entering their country.

We recommend that your travel bookings should be made 2 – 4 months in advance, especially if you are travelling between October- March (high tourist season) and May – June, the Indian holiday season. As Travel infrastructure in India has its limitation in comparison to the high season demand therefore we highly recommend booking your tour in advance. However, in the case of late/last minute booking, we should be able to accommodate depending on hotel availability. 

There are many convenient and powerful ways for you to create a custom tour for yourself. If you want to create a tour, a just outline a rough sketch of the Tour from your Interests. Once you have done that you can send us the request to redesign with our expertise and keeping in view the possible routings etc.

Most of our trips do not have a single supplement. This means that the accommodation is on a twin or triple share basis and, if you are travelling on your own, you will be sharing a room with another traveller of the same sex. 

As you grow old, chances of popping pills also go up. So, it is important to carry the necessary medicines with you all the time. In fact, medicines are as important as cash or passport during a holiday, especially for elderly people. Also, ensure that you are carrying enough medicines so that they last till the duration of your trip. Don’t keep medicines in check-in baggage. Instead, carry them in your cabin bag for the sake of your convenience. 

Usually, in group tours, the entire day is spent in visiting the sightseeing places. At some places you may have some time at leisure or for shopping. However for most of the days you will get some time on your own only when you return to the hotel. 

You can purchase an international roaming service for your existing number from your service provider and use it to keep in touch with your loved ones. Alternately you can also purchase local sim card or calling card. You will need to carry your own internationally compatible mobile handsets on tour. However, we are not responsible for charges levied by the international / local authorities. 

Yes, for all group tours you have the choice of joining the group directly at the first destination and leaving at the last destination. You will get reduction for the airfare from your tour cost.
